More than Rs 2.42 lakh crore disbursed to PM Kisan beneficiaries; when is next PM Kisan instalment due?

PM Kisan beneficiaries are eagerly waiting to receive the 14th installment of Rs 2000 which will be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary of the scheme. A PM Kisan beneficiary will receive Rs 6,000 per year as part of its goal to give financial support to marginal and small farmers.Since the launch, more than Rs. 2.42 lakh crore disbursed to over 11 crore farmers, according a PIB tweet.

According to reports, after the 13th installment has already been distributed on February 27, 2023, the 14th instalment is expected to be released in June. The official announcement of the 14th installment is yet to be made.

According to the PIB tweet on PM Kisan disbursals, “PM-KISAN: Empowering Annadatas by providing Accessible & Timely Financial Assistance More than Rs. 2.42 Lakh Crore disbursed to Over 11 Crore Farmers Under the PM-KISAN, income support of Rs. 6,000 per year in three equal installments is provided to all land-holding farmer families, providing them socio-economic security.”

PM Kisan eKYC
According to the PM Kisan website, “eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP Based eKYC is available on PMKISAN Portal or nearest CSC centres may be contacted for Biometric based eKYC.”

What is PM Kisan Yojana?
The PM Kisan Yojana, an important government program introduced by PM Modi in 2019, sends an annual deposit of Rs 6000 to the bank accounts of farmers nationwide. The participants of the PM Kisan Yojana get each Rs 2,000 installment throughout the course of a four-month period.

Step 2: Under ‘ Farmers corner’ click on ‘ Beneficiary List”
Step 3: Select state, district, sub-district, block, village
Step 4: Click on the ‘Get Report’ tab

How to update eKYC online
Step 1: Visit the official website of PM-Kisan
Step 2: Click on the eKYC option available on the right side of the page
Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar Card number, and captcha code and click on search
Step 4: Enter the mobile number linked with the Aadhaar card
Step 5: Click on ‘Get OTP’ and enter the OTP in the specified field

How to edit Aadhaar details
Step 1: visit the official website at www.pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: On the home page click on the ‘Farmer Corner’.
Step 3: Now select the option ‘Edit Aadhaar Failure Records’.
Step 4: Options like Aadhaar Card Number, Mobile Number, Bank Account Number, Farmer Number.
Step 5: Click on the Aadhaar Number.
Step 6: Enter all the required details and click on ‘Update’.
